Who we are
A vibrant, diverse community sharing the love of Jesus
The Lusaka Conference of Seventh-day Adventists takes its name from Lusaka, the capital city of the Republic of Zambia. Rooted in the Bible and the guiding principles of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we serve our members and the wider community with compassion, integrity and dedication.
We are one of the administrative units of the Church under the Southern Zambia Union Conference. Our territory extends across the south-western side of Lusaka Province, and we are also present in Central Province.
We plant churches and run community-based services that bring dignity and wellness to people — believing in unity, spirituality and total member involvement, where every member is a builder.

Christ-like Living
Showing the lordship of Jesus through moral, ethical and social behaviour consistent with His teaching and example.
Christ-like Communicating
Sharing the hope of salvation in Jesus through conversation, preaching, publishing and the arts.
Christ-like Discipling
Nurturing continued spiritual growth, training for effective witness and encouraging obedience to God's will.
Christ-like Teaching
Developing mind and character toward a mature relationship with God, His Word and the created universe.
Christ-like Healing
Making healthful living and care for the sick a priority, cooperating with the Creator's work of restoration.
Christ-like Serving
Ministering humbly to people most affected by poverty, tragedy, hopelessness and disease.

The number 27 points to A.D. 27, traditionally linked with the start of Jesus' public ministry — a call to renew our commitment to His mission in every language, community and digital space.
